About the Role This role is all about creating outdoor experiences that genuinely make a difference for young people and the communities they’re part of. As Outdoor Adventures Manager, you’ll design and deliver programs that build confidence, resilience, and connection, while still being engaging, inclusive, and suited to different ages and skill levels. It’s a hands-on leadership position that suits someone practical, commercially aware, and focused on delivering outcomes that matter. About You You’re someone who thrives outdoors and understands how adventure can be used to build confidence, connection, and leadership in young people and communities. You’re hands-on, safety focused, and comfortable leading groups in dynamic environments while keeping outcomes and experience front of mind. What You Bring Recognised outdoor industry qualifications (e.g. Cert IV in Outdoor Recreation or equivalent) and experience across multiple adventure disciplines Technical competencies such as vertical rescue and/or swift water rescue, abseiling, ropes courses, and canoeing (flat water or equivalent) Strong field experience, with 300 program days (or equivalent demonstrated experience) in outdoor education or adventure delivery Proven ability to facilitate groups across a range of ages, backgrounds, and development needs Understanding of how outdoor and adventure programs support personal growth, teamwork, and leadership development Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with participants, clients, and stakeholders The full Job Description is available below.
